Q: When is the best time to do the zipline?

A: Early in the morning, especially during the summer months when thunderstorms and lightning occurs in the afternoons.

Q: What happens when it starts to rain?

A: The tour can be completed in light rain, but will be cancelled if there is lightning and heavy thunderstorms.  You will be given a voucher to return and finish the tour on another day.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Comfortable clothes.  Pants or shorts and closed shoes like takkies.  No sandals or flip-flops will be allowed on the tour.

Q: What is the value of the discount voucher?

A: The discount voucher is to the value of R50 and can be redeemed on any meal and/or drinks at Amanzingwe lodge.  All extra costs is for your own account.

Q: How far is Amanzingwe lodge from the zipline?

A: The zipline is situated on the grounds of Amanzingwe lodge and is approximately 500m from reception and the restaurant.

Q: How long will the zipline tour take to complete?

A: Two or three  people in a group will take approximately one hour to do the zipline, four to six people will take an hour and a half and a group of eight will complete the tour in two hours.

Q: What about people that will not be partaking in the tour?

A: Spectators are welcome to join the group at the first slide to watch them embark on this adventure and take photo’s.  Thereafter they can relax on the terrace at Amanzingwe lodge, enjoy a drink and watch their friends and family complete the zipline.
